The Rooms at Psychologie of Home
Psychologie of Home is an interior design business school that teaches designers how to build profitable interior design businesses through pricing, project process, client management, and strong decision-making. The programs inside Psychologie of Home are organized into different Rooms, each designed to support designers at a specific stage of building or growing their interior design practice.
The Classroom and The Workroom are two ways for aspiring and working designers to learn the same interior design business curriculum through either an in-person immersive experience or a live, guided format.
Psychologie of Home is a practice, not a content library. We are here to help people do the work, not collect more information or watch more YouTube videos.
We teach through structure, application, and lived experience. The Classroom and The Workroom focus on the business of interior design: how designers make money, how they sell ideas to real clients, how they market themselves in the modern landscape, and how projects actually move from concept to completion through systems, process, and follow-through.
We also teach what usually gets skipped. How to work through fear, self-doubt, and indecision. How to stay in the room when things get uncomfortable. How to make choices and stand behind them.
Here you learn how to run an interior design business, how to think clearly, how to practice making decisions, and how to refine judgment over time.
That’s the work.
The Classroom
The Classroom is our flagship program, a five-day immersive interior design business school where aspiring and working designers learn the real structure behind building a profitable design practice.
The Classroom focuses on the business of interior design. Pricing. Process. Clients. Technique. Confidence. How to build a real business.
Yes, design is part of it. But the deeper work is learning how to think, decide, and operate like a CEO running a real company, not a hobbyist.
Just as important, The Classroom brings you into the room with designers who share the same goal: building a successful career in interior design. You learn alongside peers navigating similar questions and ambitions, build meaningful connections, and leave with clarity, confidence, and momentum as you step fully into your role as a professional interior designer.

The Workroom
The Workroom delivers the same interior design business curriculum as The Classroom in a guided format designed for designers who cannot attend the five-day in-person school.
A live, guided, self-paced version of our design school with a healthy side of mentorship.
This option is for aspiring interior designers and working designers who want to build or strengthen a design practice but cannot step away for a full week to attend the immersive Classroom.
The Workroom teaches the same business foundations as The Classroom. The difference is the format. Instead of five consecutive days, the material is paced over six weeks to six months so you can integrate what you learn while continuing to live and work at home.
Through three one-on-one, 60-minute sessions each month, plus guided assignments, you will build clarity, confidence, and momentum while developing real structure inside your design business.
Structure changes. Our standards don’t.

“Kami is a POWERHOUSE.😳
She presents a highly organized and systematic approach to Interior Design that includes tech, sales, design, field trips, ENERGY, problem solving, her unique way of storytelling, and transparency.
Blown away folks, and my bar is high. WORTH IT. “

Did I mention fun?! 👏🏻🎉
— Michelle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“I sought interiors education elsewhere prior to this quick program and wished I had only done this one.
I left this program more motivated and encouraged than my other program which focused on creating attrition instead of building students up.
This program offered every practical need of beginning a business (not at all covered by my other program), and knowing all I need to know is empowering.
Kami and Hailey, thank you!”
— Erin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“I'm not going to lie...I was a little skeptical. Something in my gut told me to go for it. I took a risk flying across the country to attend this course and I can say with full certainty it's going to pay for itself over and over and over. And fast. Kami introduced a TON of business guidance which is really what I needed. She simplified the process for folks building their business and focuses on the important actionable items. This is a straight forward, no smoke in mirrors class. She is not going to add or noise about composition and color theory etc. She is going to help you identify and organize your brand identity and get you the KEY information you need to kick ass.
